Answers:
"Tolerance describes an adaptation by the brain to the continued presence of a drug in which higher doses of the drug are required to obtain the effect of the initial dose."

"Tolerance is said to develop when the response to the same dose of a drug decreases with repeated use. Gross tolerance to the major effects of cannabis does not ordinarily occur in humans with moderate or intermittent use."

"Physical dependence is a physiological state of adaptation to a drug. normally following the development of tolerance, which gives rise to a characteristic set of acute physiological withdrawal symptoms (often called the "abstinence syndrome"), when administration of the drug is stopped. Significant physical dependence on cannabis has not been demonstrated in humans or animals. Many investigators have noted that when chronic cannabis users are deprived of their drug, either by legal arrest or hospitalization, no severe effects occur and there are few complaints or demands for drug treatment."

"The presence or absence of psychological dependence in a given situation depends on one's definition of the term. While many cannabis users in North America seem to take the drug once or twice a week, in a social context similar to that in which alcohol is normally consumed, and readily abstain for weeks or months with no ill effects, there is a small minority of users who smoke it daily, as a regular habit, and whose preferred routine and sense of well being are disrupted if they are unable to obtain the drug. There are reports that considerable psychological dependence occurs in a minority of individuals in whom the acquisition and use of the drug have become a major component of their existence. Such habits are reportedly often difficult to discontinue."

"Many users in North America apparently find cannabis pleasant and desirable, and often will go out of their way to acquire it-even at the risk of severe criminal penalty. In addition, there are several clinical reports of subtle adverse aspects of cannabis dependence in some chronic users on this continent. However. the craving and urgency associated with opiate narcotic, barbiturate, alcohol or tobacco dependence does not seem to develop."
Health Question & Answer

since weed is measures in weigth of plant matter, not milligrams there is no source of accurate tolerance levels,

generally first time users don't get high, second time, kinda high, third pretty high, then it slowly declines with frequent use, needing more and more weed to attain the same state of highness.

as for dependance, you wont get addicted, unless you smoke often, if u smoke once and feel a slight urge,don't smoke a again for a while.The more you smoke, and the higher you get, the more likely you are to get addicted. Once or twice a month its is very unlikely you will get addicted, but you may still want to smoke, after all , it is fun.

here are some withdrawal symptoms: * mild to moderate, non life-threatening withdrawal symptoms occur after daily use in some users. These may last for 1-6 weeks after cessation of use and can include anxiety, anhedonia (reduced experience of pleasure), headaches, general unease/discomfort, difficulty sleeping, and a desire to smoke pot. Severity of symptoms is related to frequency of use and individual sensitivity.
* slight loss of appetite
* finding non-stoned life a bit dull, increased boredom Health Question & Answer

uh tolerance.? There isnt a specific dosage, because THC conted varys from plant to plant, or strain to strain. Dependence level.? Its not addictive, the only way to be "addicted" is just liking it alot and doing it VERY often. You can easily stop, you just dont want to.
I think this questioni means how does it effect different people, and how much do smokers "depend" on it. which they dont depend on it so idk whats going on there...Health Question & Answer
