What's a good home remedy to treat a mild cold?!

Question: What's a good home remedy to treat a mild cold.?
My husband isn't feeling so well recently and thinks he's coming down with something. Nothing major, and I know it will have to just work itself through his system if it's a virus, but does anyone know any good home remedies to treat a cold besides lots and lots of liquids like water.? Just looking for some ideas, and of course if he really feels bad off to the dr. we'll go. Thanks all!! :)Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Two remedies involving warm salt water...put some on the fingers and "sniff" it (sounds weird, works wonders), and gargle with it...
Hot tea with honey and lemon for cough (add a shot of whiskey or burbon to help you sleep)...
Boil some water, add some lemon, and cover head with a towel and breathe the "vapors"...
Use Chapstick on a sore nose...

This always works for me but needs to be done as soon as you think you have a cold coming.

1. Put on extra clothing and prepare some dry clothes to change into.
Its time to make your body sweat.

Take a very large glass boiled water. Add honey. Don't sip it, drink it all in one go without burning yourself.

You will then sweat like mad. Wait until you think the sweating has finished and change into dry clothes.

2. 4 grams of dried lily with rock crystal sugar in bolied water is excellent for relieving that first feeling of a cough coming.
