Can any of these teas help me with any of these problems?!

Question: Can any of these teas help me with any of these problems.?
I have Peppermint, Chai, Tension Tamer (Chamomile with Lemon).
I have premenstrual problems (sometimes extremely severe, & midol & prescription hydrocodone do NOT help but aleeve does), arthritic-like pains and/or scar tissue type pains (from car accidents), and my face can use some rejuvenation (I'm thinking like tea bags on the eyes). also need something that can help strengthen the heart and fight off potential diabetes (family's history). I have b.p. that goes up and down (I think based on the pain and stress). And I need energy that lasts. Or to not feel so tired and sleepy all time but to sleep at bed time.
Would any of these teas I already have actually be able to help me in any or all these areas.? Or do I have to get something else.?
I also take supplements like omega 3 &6s, garlic, vitamins, chondroitin and glucosamine, calcium, etc.
And the chai tea, I like to put a little honey and milk in it.Health Question & Answer

It sounds like there's a lot going on here and I think seeing a nutritional therapist would be a good idea. I have treated lots of cases of period cramp and all the women were magnesium deficient. Try taking 200mg of good quality magnesium a day such as Biofood magnesium from www.cytoplan.co.uk or go to your health shop and ask. You want magnesium that's from food not rock so you absorb it properly. Start on 100mg tablet for a week or so then go upto 2 as you may get a slight upset stomach if you go too high too quick. If you're digestive system is fragile try magnesium citrate as this is more gentle on the stomach. After a month you should notice period cramp reducing by 3 months it should be almost gone or gone, if it reduces but it still there increase the dose. Most people are at least 300mg of magnesium short of the optimum amount so this is highly unlikely to cause an overdose.

magnesium is also essential for blood pressure regulation so anyone taking drugs to lower BP should tell their doctor as the drugs will still work as will the magnesium and low blood pressure could result!Health Question & Answer

I'd try contacting a nutrition or homeopathic expert. You may be deficient in some mineral. I also have rather severe menstrual cramps ( i use the extra-strength Midol), and I've heard that teas can help. However, I never noticed a difference when I took them. Make sure you get plenty of exercise in the days previous to your period. When I get lots of exercise before mine, I have noticeably less cramps. Lots of stress also makes my cramps/tiredness worse, and exercise helps to cope with stress. also, try to eat a balanced diet. Too much sugar will also make you listless.Health Question & Answer
