Answers:
Although many of us spend our lives in operating rooms, there are some who work in intensive care units as intensivists, and others who work in pain clinics doing chronic pain management.

In addition to our clinical duties, some of us have hospital or surgery center administrative duties.

We do not take care of animals (although some patients can be close...). We do sometimes anesthetize patients for dental work, especially children, special needs patients or very sick patients.Health Question & Answer

They give spinal/epidural anesthesia. They can also work through clinics to help alleviate chronic pain (called - you guessed it - a pain clinic). Usually, a vet does anesthesia for animals and the medical dentist (a DMD, not a DDS) does the anesthesia for dentists. Health Question & Answer
