I find taking magnesium very beneficial but I can't keep it down?!


Question: I find taking magnesium very beneficial but I can't keep it down.?
Every time I take it I either feel badly sick or I am sick. On the occasions I keep it down it makes me feel great.
How can I take it without feeling or being sick.?

You can now get Magnesium oil and use it transdermaly...by rubbing on to your skin and it will be absorbed and there is no chance of getting to much this way...it is also best this way for people with renal problems...You need magnesium in your body to make it function properly as a lack of it causes a lot of imbalance......eg

Why not increase magnesium in your diet instead of the supplements.?

Green vegetables such as spinach are good sources of magnesium because the centre of the chlorophyll molecule (which gives green vegetables their colour) contains magnesium. Some beans, peas, nuts, seeds, and whole, unrefined grains are also good sources of magnesium.

No magnesium does not have to be taken under medical supervision. That's quite inaccurate. As long as you don't exceed the RDA you are fine. You don't state your age, but assuming your female, the RDA if your aged between 19-30 is 310mg daily, if your 31+ you can take up to 320mg daily.

I'm not a fan of supplements, I have to say. Unless you have a medical condition that requires you to have extra Mg in your diet, as long as you're eating a healthy balanced diet, you should not need any added supplements. Just adjust your diet if you feel your lacking.
