depends on how fast you heal. you basically just put acid on your face. vinegar contain acetic acid which will actually given time eat through metals, and you put it on your face. Lotion will help because acids suck the water from your skin which causes the burn and decay. But there is very little you can do besides give it time and use cover up. Take the time you need to recover from sunburn that is about the proper time. Tooth paste is slightly better as an alternative.Health Question & Answer
