Hi there, it is hard to say it will definitely help but it could well do. Look for a reputable acupuncture specialist near you or ask around for recommendations. also consider seeing an osteopath, far from treating just backs they treat the whole body with muscular-skeletal problems and a chat with one will help you get an idea of whether or not they can help in your case. also consider Feldenkrais - a body awareness system that can be really effective where nerve damage is involved - either as a class - similar to yoga or a private session with a hands on practitioner. my friend is a practitioner and she has a lot of success with frozen shoulder and other things saving people from surgery. To help nerves repair make sure you're getting sufficient B12 in your diet.

My dog was hit by a car and was paralyzed in his hind legs. Luckily someone referred me to a vet who performed acupuncture. It was 6 months after the accident, but he was still able to regain 90% of his mobility. I don't think my dog is aware of the placebo affect, but whatever works! You should give it at least 6 sessions.Health Question & Answer

There is a great website www.thebodyhealer.com which has various case studies and information on various alternative healing methods. I really recommend checking them out. Health Question & Answer

Acupuncture cannot cure anything. It can only produce the placebo effect and thus relieving pain.Health Question & Answer
