I personally believe what your Dad says. If we didn't need pain medicine such as advil and tylenol to get rid or headaches and other aches many years ago when this stuff didn't exist, why do we need it today.? People are getting more whimpy and weak these days. I believe that if medicine is taken to relieve pain, the pain will be harder to get rid of without it, and your body will start relying on the medicine every time a small ache or pain comes along, and it will get worse until your body gets the medicine, and it gets worse the more you do it. That's why I haven't taken any medications that can be prescribed by a doctor or bought in a pharmacy or over the counter. I only use natural or organic medication, if any, but usually I just let it pass, and usually its okay if I do. I think you should let it go, your body doesnt need all those gross unnatural chemicals in it that pain medications put in you. Tylenols and advils and aspirins and so on are slightly addictive, and unhealthy, considered a drug. Comparing the effects of those legal drugs, to other illegal drugs, makes you wonder why the heck we should trust our government to make a certain plant illegal when it has less side effects than our common pain medication. So, just let it go, your body will thank you, and you'll be glad that you don't have to rely on paying for cruddy medications to help with silly little aches and pains of everyday life. Unless the pain is unbearable or is so severe as to inferfere with your daily routine, it is good to follow your dad's advice. Many pains and aches tend to go away by themselves. Head aches are caused either by some toxins in the blood stream or by the blood vessels in the head getting dilated. In either case, rest and time will probably make you better. Some headaches are caused by tumors in the brain or by accumulation of fluids and such headaches keep recurring (though temporarily relieved by medicine). Some headaches are caused by eye sight defects. Such heaaches are relieved by removing the cause.

So, I would sum up this way: If the head ache is not very severe or is not recurring, let it go by itself. If you feel the need, see the doctor. Health Question & Answer

No it is fine as long as you dont take it over nothing-like if it is really minor you soul;d let it go because you body can build immunity to the active ingredients but the meds are there for that reason- as long as you dont take it like multi. times a day or every single day you weill be fine!- and if you take more than the prescribed amount you will build immunity to it faster!Health Question & Answer

I've never heard that one before. I don't believe it's worth the pain and would personally take headache medicine right away to get rid of it.Health Question & Answer
