Antidepressants and grape juice?!

Question: Antidepressants and grape juice.?
I am on 2 antidepressants and a antipsychotic and I was told by my doctor that I should stay away from Grape Juice because it has a reaction with my medications.

I am a thrill seeker. What will happen if I mix grape juice with my pills.? Will I get a high, or just get ill.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It interferes with the way the medication administers within your system. It will not get you high, it will harm you. It will give you very adverse mental reactions, as well as some discomforting physical reactions.

Dead serious, heed the advice. It sucks to not. I'm a thrill-seeker. I've been in your shoes (ironic or not, 2 AD and 1 AP too :D). I learned the hard way.

Be aware that grapefruit does the same thing with many anti-anxiety/antidepressants. Apparently even moreso.Health Question & Answer
