Answers:
Sounds like you got that nasty virus I had a few weeks back, I feel sorry for you as I know how bad it can be.

What I did was this:

Nyquil to help me sleep.

Lots of Vitamin C and Echinacea to boost my immune system.

Ate bowl after bowl of chicken soup because it does help the body in many ways.

Used those soft tissues so my nose didn't hurt so bad from blowing it all the time.

Sat in the bathroom filled with steam to help clear my lungs and thin out the mucus so I could get it out of my system easier.

Raise the temp of my bedroom so I would sweat a lot when I would sleep which helps the body get rid of the toxins faster.

And in general just rested as much as possible to give the body a chance to heal itself.

All of that and my cold still lasted about 4 days, but better than 6 or 8 as it has in the past.

Hope that helps and feel better!!
Health Question & Answer

You need O.J., chicken soup and rest. If you have a recliner, trying sleeping in that. Hot water with salt mixed for a gargle is great for a sore throat. also, tea with honey.

Think of a cold as the body's way of cleansing itself. Let it run it's course. I hope you feel better soon!Health Question & Answer
