My mom had has Lung and Brain cancer. At the end of Aug. she had her hip replaced. I had to bring her home with Hospice She could hardley move or talk and I had to do everything for her but the last few days she can hold a cup and hit me and she is mad as hell at the nures and bath laides but she is still confussed and is seeing things that aren't there but she can tell me about them now i can understand her could she be just not comeing out of the anesthesia or is this that burst of energy befor the end comesHealth Question & Answer

This is not necessarily a final burst. Opioid painkillers and anesthesia can induce delirium and confusion (and also brain secondaries).
Usually, hangover last not more then 24 h but It's hard to be more helpful not Knowing which meds she is taking and hers physical condition (kidney clearance).
Be strong and ask for help.
