Question: EASY 10 POINTS !!!! How long does green tea take to start helping.?
I've been drinking it for a few days know, but i was wondering how long (if eva) does it take to clear up the skin, and would it help to rub the leaves directly onto my face like a mask..?

Green tea has lots of good qualities, but it is nutritive, not a drug. Unfortunately, green tea also contains lots of caffeine and fluoride. The fluoride content is the most troublesome and it depletes your body of iodine. The Japanese people drink about 22 cups of green tea per day on the average, but they also eat a diet very high in iodine (fish, sea weed, etc.) that offsets some of the effects of fluoride.

Iodine is a very necessary mineral that will affect the quality of your skin and it is also the major ingredient in the T3 and T4 thyroid hormones. Most Americans are deficient in iodine due to the high usage of fluoride toothpastes, fluoridated water, drinking sodas and American beer that are loaded with fluoride, etc.

Acne and most skin problems are due to intestinal infections and the destruction of intestinal flora that is 3/4 of your immune system. This happens when you take just one antibiotic pill. To replenish the flora, eating yogurt will not do this, especially the sugar coated, pasteurized junk yogurts sold in stores.

Additionally, a lot of wrinkles are due to gallbladders that are not functioning well due to toxic livers and eating bad oils like vegetable oils that are oxidized when you buy them from the store.

Green tea ups the fluid content of your body and provides antioxidants, which can help skin rejuvination, however on its own its probably not enough. Remember to elimate things that worsen skin such as sugar and fat and smoking/alcohol/drug usage.
