I need advice on my sons health...?!

Question: I need advice on my sons health....?
ok so im no doctor, but i have a feeling theres something going on with my sons health. he is constantly getting ill, with chest infections, colds and flus etc etc. when he was little he was over dosed with amoxil (due to stupid doctor prescribing wrong volume of amoxil, and yes the idiot is no longer able to doctor as he almost killed my son) but... he has asthma, and he is also very picky about what foods he eats. he loves his milks and breads and chicken. he has a constant barking cough, weather he is sick with the flu or not, it is a everyday thing. im really not sure what direction to turn to, he is only 2 and a half, i have him booked in with a naturopath for a different method.... im sick of the doctors telling me the same thing every single time. there has to be something that keeps triggering his coughing and sickness off.... The Naturopath will be able to offer much help. But since you did ask...I'd probably get your son started on some probiotics - there are children's options in health food stores..usually in the refrigerated section. also that yogurt 'Activa' is fortified with probiotics as well as a yogurt like drink called "Kefir" comes in flavors also in health food stores.

Getting the bacteria/yeast back on track and then boosting his immune system should get your son stronger and more able to fight infection. Some is also normal at his age as he is being exposed to many things and building his own resistance. With that cough I'd get him off milk...one of the worst things for mucus and the concern of asthma...I'm surprised doctors did not let you know. Rice milk or Almond milk with calcium are great alternatives...and don't worry about regular milk...my daughter and I never drink it and our teeth and bones are great! Good luckHealth Question & Answer

Milk and breads, how about fruit and veggies, it sounds like he is reacting to milk and yeast.
I would find out what to do about retraining a 2 year old to eat healthy food, which would give him a decent immune sytem, you are the boss, not him.
Good luck.Health Question & Answer

Try going without cows milk, also if his diet is poor try and give him a multi vitamin. swimming is a very good activity for people to do who have asthma as it strengthens the lungs, good luck and all the best.Health Question & Answer

try to see pulmanary specialist doctor for his colds .please let me know what happensHealth Question & Answer

History of your son being exposed to "overdose with amoxil" and your son's response, there is a good chance that your son has not only allergy but possibly created an immune system change.
In some systems of healing such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, and integrative medicine, such changes are often observed and treated.

As to your next step, it depends on your objectives. The visit with naturopath is a good idea - make sure that he/she is a LICENSED naturopath or has graduated from an accredited institution (i.e. Bastyr, Southwest etc)

For healing of yourself and family - TRUST NO ONE - do your own homework and observe and balance intuition with knowledge and facts.
