There aren't really any. Hepatitis just means inflammation of the liver in response to a toxin of some sort...in your case, alcohol. It is a painful condition, and recurrent episodes of alcoholic hepatitis will cause permanent scarring in the liver, known as cirrhosis.

The treatment is stop the offending toxin, rest the gut, give pain killers that aren't metobolized in the liver (eg Tylenol is out)
