Why do i get a stomach ache when i take NAC?!


Question: Why do i get a stomach ache when i take NAC.?
ive been taking NAC (n-acetyl-cysteine) for a little while now cause i am sick. on the back of the bottle it says that if you get a stomach ache, to stop taking it. every time i take it, i get a stomach ache, so i stopped taking it. out of curiosity, does anyone know why NAC might cause stomach aches.?.?.? it doesnt make since to me, since it is naturally found in your body.Health Question & Answer
