Can i treat Cystitis by drinking vinegar?!

Question: Can i treat Cystitis by drinking vinegar.?
I think i have a small case of urinary tract infection. I'm usually always urinating and when i do i don't always have a full bladder. Plus, its a small itch after wards. Family says that maybe it could be my diet or because i don't wipe correctly. Can i treat this by drinking vinegar or do i have to i have to use antibiotics.? This would really help me because im trying to try home remedies before i make i really expensive(in my case)trip to the doctor.Health Question & Answer

Are you sure you have cystitis.? This leaves an unmistakable follow up burning, after peeing, not what I'd call a small itch.

You can try cranberry juice, but apart from the fact it's not worked in clearing my cystitis properly, I think you do need to get yourself checked out professionally. Home remedies are all fine and dandy, but it may turn out to be a false economy if you end up needing more complicated treatment in the end (no pun intended).Health Question & Answer

It could be many things, but vinegar wouldn't treat any of them. It could be a UTI, an STD (like chlamydia-only if you're sexually active) or a yeast infection (which causes itchiness and pain during urination). I'm afraid you may have to visit a doctor for a true diagnosis. Health Question & Answer

Do not drink vinegar it will destroy your insides. It's an acid!

You need to get antibiotics to cure it.Health Question & Answer
