Question: What's the next medication too.?
Hi, I smashed my arm about 7/8 wk ago and I told the physio that am still in pain and she suggested that I go back to the GP to get stronger tablets but I am allergic to somethings like codeine, paracetamol, ibuprofen, trimodal nurofen, anadin, can anyone suggest anything stronger that I can get over the counter at the chemist, also I have got to make sure that the tablets don't have caffeine in them.

There is nothing you get can stronger over the counter. When you see your doctor let him know about all your allergies if he's not already aware and what you've tried already that isn't working for you and he use all that information and make the best decision for you.Health Question & Answer
Have you tried Darvocet .? It's stronger than Tylenol. It'a prescription drug though. I have the same problem like you, so I just take Tylenol plain for soreness, for it works for me.

There is a Tylenol Arthritis Strength formula that works very well. It's just a higher dose of tylenol and you take it every 8 hours I believe. It's what I use and I get some pretty bad headaches. It's over the counter and no caffeine.Health Question & Answer
