But all in all I have been considering this surgery. You can say that I should love my body and all that jazz, but I mean I don't entirely. i don't, i avoided anything sexual to me for over a year because of this. and I just stumbled across this website today and some guys have posted that they think larger labia's are hot.. is that true, I mean some obviously wont.

Good point in that it may cause numbness. That is what happens when you have surgery and tissue is cut away. I have a breast augmentation and the nipple had to be moved and repositioned because I breast-fed my children. That side is now a bit numb. It is difficult to accept yourself that way you are, no matter how much therapy you do or don't have. I say that we live in a society where we can and DO get body alterations because it makes us happy. This includes piercings, tattoos, additions to our body and detractions to our bodies, teeth whitening, skin bleaching, skin tanning, mole removal, the list can go on. Don't let someone else's guilt about how they think you should or shouldn't look keep you from being happy in your own skin. Just be aware that yes, numbing could happen, so be sure and check out the doc and talk to some people who have had it done by the same doc. Health Question & Answer
