Headache Cures.. Tea mixtures... Ice?!

Question: Headache Cures.. Tea mixtures... Ice.?
I've had this headache for 36 hours now... ibuprofin dulls it, and I started taking excedrin, following the instructions.

I'm drinking hot water with a bit of honey in it. I'm thinking of getting one of those headache "rollon" sort of lip chap thingys.

Anyone have any good home remedies.? Pls no jack daniels hee hee.Health Question & Answer

Try taking the ibuprofen with a little bit of caffeine..it helps it work better by opening up the blood vessels. Then lie down in a cool, dark, quiet room with a cool rag to your forehead. You can also try rubbing some mentholatum on your temples (like Vicks). Masturbation can also help (seriously). I like to use a meditative visualization...I picture myself stepping into a beautiful waterfall..except instead of water there is warm white healing light. it falls over my head and body and I picture my pain being washed away.
I would strongly advise you though, if this has been going on for 36 hours you should probably be seen by your doctor. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.Health Question & Answer

Keep very well hydrated!!...lots and lots of water..
Have a warm bath with a lavender fragranced bubble bath.
Get off the computer...dont watch any dvds/tv. Turn most of the house lights off..as all these things can aggravate headaches.
Go to bed and try to sleep it off.Health Question & Answer
