Question: Anyone whos an emt plz help me out !!!.?
im a high school senior nd im thinkin about becoming an emt, but i would lik to kno what do they do.? How many hours do they work.? How much do they get paid.? is this a dangerous job.? Which is better working for a firehouse or for a hospital.whats the most craziest call you had. i kno alot of questions but i just wanna make sure b4 i graduate thanks for answering! :)Health Question & Answer

i love my job as an emt.. wish i would have discovered it sooner...
depending on the service you work for is the hours.. you can work a day truck which is 8-12 hours or a 24 hour truck, which works 24 on and 48 off...
the pay is different for every service.. in tn it is from 8-10 an hour.. or more..
the craziest or worst call i had was actually a call with my vol fire dept.. a 4 car pileup... which broke me in good because i was just a first responder then..
i work for a private service which basically does transports..
the pts are already bandaged up, etc) but we also do a few 911 calls...
