If you just have a minor ear pain, a small bag of salt over the ear might help a little.

If it really is an infection rather than just ear ache I would seriously got to the Doctor. If the infection spreads into your ear it can have serious consequences not to mention serious pain. Good luck, hope you're better for christmas:)Health Question & Answer
A good quality Vitamin A, directly into the ear. You could also consider having candling done; it's a Hopi thing for build up of wax, but might help with your infection, as often balance is involved.Health Question & Answer
