Awww diddums.

The Doctors and Nurses were probably too busy dealing with tiny little things like road traffic accidents, heart attacks, pneumothorax's, burns victims ... etc, but your right, they should have instantly dropped what they were doing and seen to your little scratch!!!!!

Grow up! And be grateful you have us at all! Health Question & Answer

NHS is worst of what.? It is definitely worst than most public health systems in developing countries. The record of deaths in pregnancy (both mothers and babies) is appalling and it all boils down to the disgusting way pregnant moms are treated in NHS hospital. Not to mention the appalling conditions of most hospitals. I have lived abroad in other countries, where tax rates are similar to UK but public services are much better, starting from the national health systems and transportationHealth Question & Answer

well if your hand was hanging off you would of been rushed through you are a self centred person i bet middle class as well think you can just condemn a N.H.S because you had to wait a little for a nurse to put a plaster on a little cut you took up valuable time that maybe could of saved a child from horrific injuries from a car accident or a dad from a heart attack or a grandparent from a stroke you are a little moaner who should be grateful that you were not turfed out on your ear by a staff nurse take a look at the inside working of an A/E unit in a N.H.S hospital you would be ashamed of yourself for this comment
the N.H.S does an amazing job with very limited resource and overstretched staff which is the remnants of what thatcher caused in the first place
we should be grateful we have a N.H.S at all and to go to an A/E for a little cut is shameful when you see what the poor staff have to deal with on a daily basisHealth Question & Answer

At my local infirmary, they make you wait in order of severity.

So, for you, a simple stabbing in the left palm wouldn't be considered as serious to them, so they make you wait. And hell do they make you wait.

I once woke up at 3am vomiting, and had to wait until 7.30am to get seen to by a doctor. By that time I was asleep in my dad's lap.

What can you do, it's free after all.Health Question & Answer

There are many many people that get seen at hospital, not just you and obviously it takes time to see them all - you try working in a hospital and see the other side - see if you moan then. Yes i know it's annoying but thats life. People get seen after their injury(s) have been prioritised in order of importance. Health Question & Answer

We are the envy of the world because of the NHS!

Where else in the world would you been seen at any time of day or night FREE!

Even the wealthiest country in the world, America, hasn't got what we have!

You had a scratch, you wimp!

Put a bandaid on it!

Hospitals are for serious problems!Health Question & Answer

My wife has just been treated for cancer.I take my hat off to the N.H.S.
and to all the dedicated staff who are employed by the Service.Maybe not perfect but damn good nevertheless. Some people in the U.K.do not realize just how fortunate they are!Health Question & Answer

I think people complain too much about the NHS. Count yourself lucky you have such a service here in the Uk. In South-Africa you will pay your head off just having a Dr giving you a check-up.Health Question & Answer

yeh, you're right, i'd much rather pay for all my medical expenses than get free medical help for any serious injury i might incur. the NHS is to save your LIFE not your money. Health Question & Answer

Perhaps there were people with more serious ailments there; people who were not just messing about in school but who had had a serious accident.Health Question & Answer

Sorry but if it was a cut that only required a simple band aid then you shouldn't have gone to the hospital at all. It could easily have been dealt with without taking up valuable nhs resourcesHealth Question & Answer

It's a plaster, not a bandaid.

And the NHS is great. More healthy proles for the factory :)Health Question & Answer

You sound like a right stuck up snob....Health Question & Answer

You were not an emergency. Really ill people get priority.
How old are you.?Health Question & Answer

you should argue with them until you get seen Health Question & Answer
