Potassium gluconate and magnesium for restless legs and?!

Question: Potassium gluconate and magnesium for restless legs and.?
Potassium gluconate 550 mg and magnesium 250 mg as it was what they had at the drug store.

I started taking OTC potassium and magnesium for restless legs and also I am a profuse sweater and it is helping my legs and fatigue from excessive sweating.

What is the best time of day to take either one or both of them.?

What is a good dose for each of them.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
The dosage recommendations should be listed on each one and that's what I would recommend following unless a doctor says otherwise. The Potassium is normally 1-2 times per day and that kind of Magnesium is likely 2 per day.
I would suggest taking them about an hour before bed time or when you normally have problems with your legs. You could also try spreading the doses throughout the day (so one of each twice a day) if the sweating happens more throughout the day instead of at any one time.

As a side note, I kind of find it funny when some companies list their product differently than others. The 550 mg of Potassium Gluconate would have no more than 99 mg of elemental Potassium in it because of the FDA requirements on OTC Potassium... 99 mg is the most of elemental Potassium you can get without a prescription.Health Question & Answer
