Too much lithium will kill you. Not like "cocaine can kill you", more like "arsenic will kill you".
Anyone who is prescribed lithium should have their blood tested and monitored frequently to make sure the dose is reduced if they are starting to build it up in their blood. That's to keep them from dying from it.
There are plenty of good drugs to get high on out there I'm sure, at least one of them will probably kill someone you know by the time you graduate college so have fun but be smart and take care of yourself - first & foremost.

lithium is a metal.. large doses can poison you, and people take it as a supplement because they don't have enough in their brain. ITS FOR MENTAL DISORDERS!!! and won't get you high.Health Question & Answer
