Smoking marijuana does not help depression, it does in the short run but it actually works as a depressant, as soon as your off it the depression will come back ten times worse.
The best thing I found to do is to actually drag your **** out of bed in the morning, no laying around just waiting to get up.. go for a walk or run for 30minutes and eat a good, healthy breakfast.
Cut out as much junk food from your diet as possible. It seems a lot of people are forgetting how important a healthy diet it, it not only makes you feel better but you'll have a lot more energy to do the things you want to.
Force yourself to get out every day. Get involved with social groups. Volunteer work is really good to do as it keeps you active, your mind on a task and at the end of it you feel good for having helped someone else.
Abd try to keep a regular sleeping pattern, be sure to not oversleep or undersleep.Health Question & Answer
