when i used to get head aches at about 11 years old i was only allowed to take on tylenol according to the back of the bottle at twelve years old i began to start taking two now i am fifteen and two hasnt been working anymore so i started taking three (two extra strength tylenol and one aleve) a couple of days ago i had another head ache so i thought it would of been good if i slept it off but it got worse so i decided to take all three again help!!! any remidies or suggestions.?.?.?.? Try drinking something with caffeine in it like coffee or soda to help with a headache. I'll do this with minor headaches instead of taking pills.Health Question & Answer
We don't have Tylenol brand in Australia, so I don't know if they are just aspirin or paracetamol alone or if they have codeine in them, as things advertised as extra strength here do. If they have codeine in them then you can be addicted to them Codeine is made from the opium poppy, the same as heroin and morphine, and although much more refined and less addictive than them, still can be addictive, withdrawal symptoms from codeine include watery eyes, yawning uncontrollably, aches and pains, runny nose and difficulty sleeping. taking that much OTC pain reliever is not good for your liver. i would recommend seeing your doctor or trying out one of the excellent natural remedies recommended by the other post.

Addiction means taking it when you don't need it, all the time. You're not doing this, so you're not addicted. Most likely. Go see a doctor if you are worried. Why do you have such frequent headaches.? It might be the pain medicine. Talk to a doctor.Health Question & Answer
