I have gastroesophageal reflux disease so I can't drink or eat anything with lemon lime orange peppermint apple cider listerine
and yeah
i think you get the idea maybe

If you have allergies you need to get rid of the dripping on the back of your throat. Good old benadryl (will make you drowsy) claritin or zyrtec will get rid of the dripping. Take some ibuprofen (you can take up to 800 mg, 4 over the counter pills 3 times a day) that will help with any inflammation in your throat and try something to numb it like a cepacol lozenge.Health Question & Answer

Try more to prevent the acid backwash by putting a couple of boards under the head of your bed. Sleep on your back, very slightly propped up at the head.

If you are overweight, try to avoid sleeping on your stomach.

For the pain, try to slowly eat a piece of bread. It helps absorb AND wipes the throat. Slowly sip a little baking soda mixed with water. Just about 1/2 tsp. per cup. Sip Pepto Bismol to coat the throat.
