Question: What makes parabens and glycols bad.?
I notice that some lotions and creams will have a label stating "Contains no parabens or propylenglycol"
Are they bad.? What are they exactly and what does it do to the body when applied to the skin.

The way I decide this stuff is just to choose my battles. For instance I found toothpaste, soap, body lotion, and face care that are all natural and contain no ingredients that worry me but as far as haircare I still go with a well known salon available brand.
