I have a question about Xanax.?!

Question: I have a question about Xanax..?
I am 18 years old, and a few months ago I went through a rather horrible withdraw from Xanax. I was on it for Panic attacks. I was taking .5mg doses 3 times a day. But it progressed to 1mg 3 times a day. But after awhile I was taking them every other hour. so after a few weeks of being on them I was taking 3 1mg at a time every 6 hours, so I was taking about 9 day everyday for a about 2 months. After a while I knew I had to stop taking them. I went cold turkey. I didn't need any professional help to get off of them. But I thought I was never going to recover from the withdraw. after a few weeks of the horrible symptoms.(de-realization, dizzy/fogginess in my head.) and many more symptoms such as not being able to move/talk eat or drink. It was the worst 3 weeks of my life. But after I got over it I have been clean from xanax for about 5 to 6 months now. But I have been having really bad paranoia lately. I worry about EVERYTHING. and when I say everything I mean everything little thing. Such as if I get a rash I think I have skin cancer or something like that. I don't know why I think like that but I do. So here is my question if I start taking xanax again, even just a couple times a week when I need them will I suffer from some of the withdrawl symptoms again.? Someone please help.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Wellbutrin. is non-habit forming and didn't work at all for me but every one is different. They are right it is something you may need to discuss with your doctor. I would let him make the suggestions not give him suggestions. Explain your fear of withdraw and how you don't want to be forced to use daily only when necessary. Im sure he will have alternatives for you. When you get your new Rx look it up and know what you are taking and know the risks. Oh and to answer your Question no you will not have withdraw if you don't use daily or abuse that day take only what you need but be sure its enough that your not tempted to take more an hour later.Health Question & Answer

Stay away from Xannex. It does absolutely no good for you unless your in a worst-case scenario anxiety attack, in which it will calm you down. But taking it like its an anti-depressant every day.? Not a good idea; that's why its typically prescribed "as needed."Health Question & Answer

Try a natural method to overcome panic attacks. You can get more help visiting the link below:

You will be likely to start abusing it again, like you did before. Ask your physician about Wellbutrin. It's non-habit forming.Health Question & Answer
