Answers:
Most of these herbs can be found in a good health food store with a bulk herb section. You can find many of them in pill and extract form but they can be expensive that way. You can also find many online in 1lb bags if you plan to use them regularly (try Frontier Herbs). Here is the general rule for preparing the herbs in tea form.

If it is a flower or leaf you can just steep it (Elder, Peppermint, etc). Boil water and pour it over the herbs, cover and let sit for about 10 minutes, strain and drink.

If it is a root or bark you need to simmer it. Break it into the smallest pieces you can and put it in water (try not to use metal pots but glass or corning ware style) and bring it all to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. Let it cool slightly and strain.

For seeds follow the same as for roots or bark but "bruise" the seed first by crushing it slightly with a rolling pin or cast iron skillet.Health Question & Answer

All of these can be found at a health food store or in the vitamin section at any store (some will be harder to find at a place like Walmart- the quality will not be as good either). I suggest the health food store. if you are looking to take them internally you can just buy in a good quality powder form or in an extract form (to save yourself time).

If you have not used any of the above and are wondering what would be good uses, feel free to email me. I have used many of them.Health Question & Answer
