Question: How do I go about obtaining medicinal marijuana.?
I suffer from extreme back pain. I have had constant pain in my lower back and, pain and numbness in my hip and both legs for over 6 months. I went for tests a month ago and found out that I have a herniated disk which is pinching or pushing up against my nerves and spinal cord. The doctors gave me very strong muscle relaxers and very strong pain relievers......they do nothing! I told this to the doctors and they upped the dose. This still had no effect on the pain. It is still there, constantly.
A friend asked me to smoke a joint with him, he said it would help with my pain. I noticed that after I smoked, the pain was manageable. Its like my mind wasn't focused on the pain.
I was wondering how do I go about getting a prescription for marijuana, and what doctor do i need to see, I live in Toronto Ontario

Alo ^ is a retard he fully said es from toronto and this noob rambles about the states
but for your answer its very hard to get a MMAR exemption card which is official card the government gives you but it is easier to get into one of the compassion clubs in toronto..do a google search for "compassion clinic toronto" BUT either way you will need a doctor to sign the forms for you..so basically if you really have an illness you wont have a problem but if you are "faking" (your not the only one) its extremely hard and you may spend time going from doctor to doctor to find one who believes you
