There are a number of blood pressure devices out there and I have used many. Except for an invasive procedure that involves inserting a device in a peripheral ( near the surface) artery, nothing is more accurate that the old-fashioned cuff and stethoscope.Health Question & Answer

Digital are so much easier for the average person to use...I suggest you take your monitor to the Doctor/Cardio when you next go so he can check it for accuracy. I do this every year or so just to make sure.
Buy a good brand unit too...I have an Omron...its endorsed by the heart foundation...cost me about $100...but it is worth it as I have a heart condition.Health Question & Answer
