Question: I have had a stuffed nose all my life. But even though it's stuffed there is no mucus. Could it be impairment..?
All my life I have always had a stuffed nose, Even when there is nothing in it. Right now I have a stuffed nose but if I blew my nose nothing comes out, As there is no mucus trapped inside, I just cant breath well through it, It has always been like that. Could this be a physical impairment that I dont know about and I have been living with not realizing.

P.S. I have had asthma my whole life, But it only effects me every 6 hours or so like clockwork.Health Question & Answer

Yes, I have that. My mum took me to a doctor and he said there's something the the top of my nose that is blocked or something, the cartilage (can't remember what exactly). I don't have asthma though, but he suggested that I get surgery but my mum couldn't afford it.

I still have it now, I've learned to deal with it, but sometimes it's do bad I have to breathe through my mouth.Health Question & Answer

It could be rhinitis which varies in different kinds.I have this symptom of stuffed nose instantly as you referred to whenever I smelt allergen through my nose, such as pollen, danders from pets. also, I get my nostril blocked if there is a sudden drop in temperature due to weather. I once tried sinus cleanse, an over-the-counter nasal product, used for severe congestion due to sinusitis, rhinitis and allergies, didn't help me relieve much from my stuffed nose. Miraculously, since I have been on proflavanol 90 by USANA supplement for over 6 months suggested by my medical major friend from which I have seen dramatic improvement with my nose. In my case, I am suffering from allergy-related rhinitis. I am not sure what type you could it be. You should consult a doctor to find out what is the cause that leads your stuffed nose so as to treat it effectively and accordingly.Health Question & Answer

How about using a Vick's nose inhaler or a nasal spray. It may help you to breathe better.Health Question & Answer
