Question: How Is Mono Developed And Transmitted.?
Is Mono Developed And Transmitted Between Two People That Kiss TOO Much For A Long Period Of Time, Everyday And Chance They Get Or Is It Just From Someone Who Has To Another Person.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
I had mono when I was 19. Mononucleosis aka Epstein Barr virus is transmitted from person to person. It is known as the kissing disease. Some people are born carriers for the Mono genes or Some people get it from bodily fluid transmission. But once a person has it, its permanent. Meaning, that the pathogen will stay in your body for the rest of your life and you do risk giving it to other people. It may lie dormant in your body (meaning it doesn't present any symptoms to your body) but it can still be transmitted to other people. A course of antibiotics usually puts the pathogen into remission. My symptoms included: Severe Fatigue, and my lymph nodes in my neck swelled to the point where I couldn't swallow fluids or solid food. If you think you have it, you should get checked for it, before the symptoms worsen to the stage where I was at. There are different stages in which the throat can swell 1-4 I was at a stage 3 if I would have gone any longer, I risked my throat closing off and not being able to breathe. Go get checked!!!!!! Hope this helps...Health Question & Answer
