Why am i having blurry vision and why am i so thirsty?!

Question: Why am i having blurry vision and why am i so thirsty.?
I've had blurry vision for about two weeks now. I thought it was just my vision getting worse, but i was also experiencing blurry vision when i had my contacts in. Along with that, I'm extremely thirsty. I usually only drink like 2 glasses of water a day. Now i'm drinking up to 10. I have also had this cut on my hand for weeks. It's still open. it's like it won't heal. My legs also have this numb sensation. If it gets really bad they will start to shake. I hate doctors offices so i was wondering if a trip was really necessary. I'm a fifteen year old girl. Thanks for your help.Health Question & Answer

In this case a trip to the Doctor is really necessary. I urge you to do so as early as possible.
Every thing you describe is symptoms of Diabetes.
Diabetes left uncontrol is very dangerous.
The doctor will do some blood test and tell you for sure what is it.Health Question & Answer

i would say for this one you are going to have to tough it out and see your doctor... thats a pretty odd constilation of symptoms and just from what you ahve to say it could be any number of things from hyperthyroidism to type 1 diabetis to just normal growing up (its probalby just normal growing up). while most likely its nothing too serious those complaints do need to get checked out.

I can understand doctors offices can be scary but its important to get checked out and generally if you let the doctor know you are nervous he can make sure hes doing hsi best to alleviate your worries.Health Question & Answer
