Question: Could I have salmonella food poisoning.?
my stools are green have been for a couple of days, and i have had gas really bad, and a weird feeling in my stomach not sure how to describe it but not a cramp and not really pain full, but there has been a little pain in my side, i have had a very light headache, and a little uncoordinated not dizzy and not lightheaded but still, not sure how to describe it but I just heard about the out break and looked up some stuff my but my doctor is not open till tomorrow and I want to know if it sounds like salmonella poisoningHealth Question & Answer

There are many many bacteria and viruses that can cause diarrhea that are not Salmonella. If you are a healthy, young person with a good immune system then your diarrhea should clear up soon. However, with that said..
If your diarrhea becomes incredibly smelly (like your whole house smells like it), if you start to have extremely bad cramps or pain, or you start to notice achy joints, you need to go see your doctor. also, watch out for fever because this could be a sign of a more serious infection (anything over 101*F).
In the meantime:
-Drink lots of Gatorade or Powerade
-Eat a bland diet.
