What would you request next for your doctor to check?!

Question: What would you request next for your doctor to check.?
Hubby has had a migraine for about 6 weeks now. They can't find anything wrong. They put him on migraine meds. They have cleared him on alot of test blood test, blood pressure, stress test, heart, cat scan, organs and so on!

He is always super tired, headaches either sleeps really long hours or not any at all because of his headaches.

Anyone else have a situation like this.? What did you have to do to get somewhere.?

We are on our third doctor as well and have even taken him to the dentist. But nothing found yet!Health Question & Answer

I'm just curious and may be WAYYYYY off base here, but, When was the last time he got his eyes checked.?Health Question & Answer

That stinks. Most doctors will try a couple of things, and when they can't find anything wrong they declare that you are the problem and there really isn't anything wrong. You need to find a doctor who doesn't give up. They're hard to find but they're out there.

Have you tried any specialists.? Like a neurologist.? Or an ear, nose and throat doctor.?

Maybe you should try a pain center. If nothing else they'll at least work with him to get him out of pain. They can prescribe medications that regular doctors can't or won't.Health Question & Answer

I am sorry for him. But I do have a idea that could help him. I was very leary at first myself but I was in a situation much like your husband. I was in pain but no could tell me why or how to get out of it. I was told by my friend to see a chiropractor. I know I know, ewww noooooo but it worked for me and if he is truly wanting relief try that. It wont kill you and will not make you worse if he is a good chiropractor. Chiropractors go through as much school as your MD does. School can be just as tough. I would look in the yellow pages for one who has studied and graduated from the Palmer Chiropractic schools, they are the best in the country. Good luck to you and him!Health Question & Answer

I think Invisible Girl has the best idea. See if you can get a referral to a neurologist.

Can he exercise.? Maybe that would help. Get out and walk the chihuahua.Health Question & Answer

Darn JJ not sure what to suggest. I'd definitely see as many diff doctors as you can to see if someone can break the code on it. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

ummmm I heard TMJ.? alot of people dont even know they have it..but if his bite isnt aligned properly then when he chews its all out of wack..people have horrible migraines for years until its fixed... even the cervical vertebraes 3-9 in back of neck outof line and having an "osteophyte" little bony grwoth in between the vertebraes can cause this (they also contribute to the TMJ) see if he has overbite..or stress that causes him to BITE down hard on his teeth all day andnight when sleeping look up "bruxism" teeth CLENCHING.. if he releases and relaxes his bite..headaches will diminish,
believe me I was a chronic teeth clencher but didnt have the slightest clue I was cleanching until I read it on internet..took weeks to stop clenching! a dentist can tell him if he has worn down his teeth enough by clenching to cause misalignment or TMJ. this will also cause GERD and post nasal drip..all that teeth clenching, hope its that simple!
