u could try the Qu-Chi acupressure band for hayfever relief. It works on the idea of acupuncture and is meant to reduce ones sensitivity to external pathogens. have added a link to an independent review by www.whatreallyworks.co.uk

Will, you don't mention to what you are allergic. If you want to get control of your allergies, you must be tested to identify your triggers. Then you can begin environmental control, immunotherapy and medication. Medication is the third prong, not the first stop! If you are in the US, you can check pollen.com to get your pollen outlook (if it is really hayfever and not some other allergen) and you will know to keep your outdoor activities to a minimum on those days. If you must be outdoors, then wear a protective mask and when you come inside shower, wash your hair, and change your clothes. This way you won't spread the pollen all over your home. If the allergen is grass, trees or weeds, the good news is that those respond well to immunotherapy. Meds are just in support of these....meds alone are not going to do it (as you have found out the hard way)

You need to get a prescription for a steroidal nasal spray. Beconase AQ or Nasonex work well. These take up to five days to start working, so it is recommended that you start taking it just before hayfever season. For long term relief, you need immunotheropy. It really works, but it can be up to two years before you notice any improvement.Health Question & Answer
Try looking for an allergy specialist and try their immunotherapy. It really worked for me! I have allergic rhinitis before and now it is completely gone! I am quite positive it can help you too.Health Question & Answer
