Do you live where it gets cold.? I know I ALWAYS get dry skin in the Winter. (Due to all the "heat" being turned on...) Your ears are very susceptible to wind & sun, both of which will "dry" them. So even if you are in a warmer climate it could be that your ears are just a good 'target'!
"Penatin" & "Zincofax" are great for dry skin!!!!
You WILL find them in the 'baby section'....my kids have said "I don't want to use diaper-rash stuff!" but IT WORKS!!! We all use it regularly!
In fact I just used it a couple minutes ago on my chapped lips!
It's a good idea to use it as a preventative/protective measure as well (Hence the "baby section"...)
Sun-block is always a good idea too!
Good luck!

P.S. -You can buy the "no-name" brands as they are always less money. The main ingredient in them all is "zinc-oxide".Health Question & Answer
