My hands go numb and are shaky all the time...?!

Question: My hands go numb and are shaky all the time....?
If i put my hands above my head for even the shortest period of time they go numb and sometimes even when i am just sitting there. My hands are constantly shaking as well. It tends to get worse when i work out. Sometimes i do tend to drink too much caffeine and i considered that, thinking it was the problem. I cut out all caffeine and my hands were still shaky and went numb. The only thing i could think of was that i have poor circulation. Is that what this is.? Are there any remedies for it.? What should i do.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Maybe carpal tunnel.? That is definitely a circulation issue. With repetitive motions, the channel that the carpal nerve is encased in gets to pressing on the nerve, and that makes your hands numb. I had surgery on both wrists, and that helped me. Losing weight helped, too. I don't remember having shaky hands along with the pain, but I did at other times. It was from stress, I think. That could have something to do with the numbness as well, perhaps.

Best of luck. If the numbness persists, you probably need to get a referral to a neurologist. Maybe rule out Parkinson's.Health Question & Answer
