Question: Leukocytes in my water sample.?
i have had pains in my lower stomach for days so i went to docs they told me to do a water sample which i did the nurse checked it and found a large trace of blood and leukocytes in it it was sent away for testing and came back clear. i still have the pain but because there was no infection present i have not been given anything can anyone explain. im confusedHealth Question & Answer

Leukocytes are simply white blood cells. Having them show up in a test could mean you have an infection some where. They are always present in urine samples along with blood. They just need to determine if and where the infection is. Since the pain was coming from your lower abdominal area you could have a mild ulcer, nothing big as long as it's treated soon.Health Question & Answer
