Numbness in the face and one eye acting weird?!

Question: Numbness in the face and one eye acting weird.?
OK, my mom (48) is experiencing numbness in her face and her one eye (left side) is like trying to close on its own.

It doesn't always happen to her but every 6-7 days she complains about it.

It started a month ago, and she is very busy at her work.

Is this a symptom for Stroke or any cardiovascular disease.?
or is she just stressed out.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It could be signs of stress, but nothing to ignore. She should see a doctor ASAP as these could be signs of mini strokes, in which the person is able to continue to function, but may still be suffering damage, or it could be something else. My mother experienced these symptoms and developed Bell's Palsy.

The symptoms of stroke are distinct because they happen quickly:

* Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm, or leg (especially on one side of the body)
* Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding speech
* Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes
* Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination
* Sudden severe headache with no known cause

If she suddenly loses the ability to speak, or move an arm or leg on one side, or experiences facial paralysis on one side
