Question: What is a good medicine for Sinus before it becomes a infection.?
I have sinus problems, and mostly it is with the drainage in my throat and it causes me to loose my voice. Please help before it gets any worse. Right now my throat is extremely scratchy. I have been using Nasacort twice a day, and mucinex d twice a day. But it doesn't seem to be helping. Thanks 10points for the Best answer. Please help.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

You might want to try a lavage with warm salt water.
You can get a Netty pot (looks like a small tea pot).
Add a small amount of salt and lean over sink and pour in one nostril slowly and it will drain out the other side. It take a bit to get the nac.
I would stop the Mucinex if you are not having a large amount of thick drainage. You can also gargle to help with your throat.
I also like to you olive leaf extract in the nasal spray form.
