Hi don't worry. You are right, it could be heart disease. But you said tests have been done and were normal.? What are they.? Sometimes a treadmill-EKG is not that accurate, it can only pick up 70% of patients who have coronary artery disease. If symtpoms persist, please discuss with your doctor if a nuclear scan is needed to be done to ensure everything is fine. On the contrary, you may just have some degree of stomach reflux which aggravate during exercise.

Don't worry about the people who is trying to irritate you :)Health Question & Answer

When you say you got tested, what does this mean.? Did you get an echocardiogram, EKG or a cardiac catheterization.? An echocardiogram can find structural defects on the heart and can measure cardiac output since a low output could lead to lightheadedness. An echocardiogram can't see atherosclerosis which could be the source of your chest tightness. An EKG is mainly for diagnosing arrhythmias which can lead to light headedness. You can still have atherosclerosis if you are skinny if you have high cholesterol, diabetes or smoke. It tends to run in families.
Being light-headed could be a cardiac, pulmonary or hematologic in origin. Anemia, low blood pressure or low blood sugar can all lead to lightheadedness.
"Chest tightness" is difficult because it could just be musculoskeltal, pulmonary or cardiac in origin.Health Question & Answer

i have a heart disease and i get light headed when i aint doing anything, and now that i just had my baby 4 weeks ago, it has gotten worse and so have the panic attacks. best thing to do when you are exercising and you get lightheaded, is to sit down, and when you are sitting, lean forward and place your head between your knees and just take in some long, slow breaths. your lightheadedness could also be from your heart beat increasing and the increase of your blood pressure. so you might just wanna start off easy with the exercising and then gradually build up the tension over time, allow your body to get use to the exercising. it could also be due to your age, like menopause or something. and the ekg being different probably aint nothing to worry over if the docs aint so much worried over it, just wait around another year, and have it checked out again unless your symtoms get worse. plus make sure to get enough oxygen when you exercise and stay hydrated, and avoid sugars, and caffeine, when can make the heart act funky. but anyways, take care! find my page for my heart condition on myspace, url is "mitralvalveprolapsegroup"Health Question & Answer
