I decided to stop smoking. ?!
Question: I decided to stop smoking.. .?
It's been six hours already.. Haven't had any cravings yet.. I'm going to throw out old cigarette boxes and lighters so I can get the temptation out of my room.. I think my triggers are when I'm thinking about my life when I'm alone, or when I'm bored and don't have anything to do.. I think instead I might read a book when I get bored, and might try to stay away from my room for a while.? Any suggestions on what else I can do to keeep myself busy.?Health Question & Answer

I recently quit smoking with ease.. I smoked for 9 years about 1-2 packs a day depending on if i drank.. It's probably a good idea to exercise.. That helped me.. Go running/jogging/walking.. If you stay inside and read you can create boredom.. I found that it was easier to quit if i didn't throw away my pack.. That way it was a choice instead of a penalty for not having any cigarettes..
