Terribly itchy eyes, unlimited sneezing, can you suggest?!

Question: Terribly itchy eyes, unlimited sneezing, can you suggest.?
I was wondering its allergy due to pollens in this season, but I am home most of the times and even the doors and windows have a net lining, limiting even dust from coming in.. Yes, I do have a peace lily plant at home, could this be the cause of my allergy.? I have been taking Allegra D daily, since it didnt help, I was prescribed Aerius for allergy, but neither helps........please suggest cause and remedy.. ThanksHealth Question & Answer

Certainly sounds like hay fever.. Eat local honey all year round to let your body build a tolerance for the local flora.. It will reduce the fever in Summer.. also try mixing a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinager with it, and use lots of the vinager in Summer.. It works for everything..

You may be allergic to something else either, still try Apple cider vinager..Health Question & Answer

People with tree allergies (myself) are going crazy right now.. Even if you are indoors, there's a chance it's coming in somehow.. Do you have pets.? Could be that.. Could be dust from your house and lack of fresh air.?

Allegra and claritin and a lot of things don't work for me.. In my experience, only 2 things work..

1.. Flonase - it's a nose spray that you use daily.. It takes about a week or more to build up in your system before you notice an improvement, so it's not instant relief.. You also need a prescription..

2.. Alka Seltzer Cold - It may not work for everyone, but it does wonders for me.. Gets rid of sneezing, itchy eyes, throat, stuffy nose, all of that! And it's cheap.. Health Question & Answer

Allergies could be caused by something inside the house, like dust, mold, carpet, anything.. I would just tell the doctor that medicine is not working either.. I have been on numerous types of pills, liquids, nasal sprays, and even the shots, and none of it really helps.. I usually have to take Allegra, Benadryl dye-free liquid, Ed-A-Hist, and either Flonase or Rhinocort Aqua nose spray for temporary relief.. Health Question & Answer

Pollen is smaller than dust and net lining will not stop pollen from coming in.. Right now ragweed and mold are really high where I live.. You could try some Claritin (over the counter allergy med).. It works pretty well and doesn't cause drowsiness.. It is not the peace lily plant causing your trouble.. Air conditioning also helps..

Health Question & Answer

well i dont know what the cause is for sure but my guess is ragweed.. i know people that get symptoms like yours from foods such as canteloupe and honeydew.... be careful what you eat and try to figure out if it is caused by a food....as for remedies i take claritin and it takes about half an hour to kick in but after that it is really very helpful....good luck!Health Question & Answer

I have had 2 things that really work.. To solve it yourself, get some 24 Claritin (get the one behind the counter, not the one on the shelf) and if you want to get a doctors treatment, get a kenalog shot.. They last quite a while (about a year) Health Question & Answer

I would suggest setting the plant outside for a couple of hours just to see if the sneezing and other allergy symptoms subside.. Asteline nose spray worked wonders for me..Health Question & Answer

use benadryl.. i get really bag allergies and i dont know what they are from and benadryl gets rid of it in like 10 minutes..Health Question & Answer

Long but worth the reading..

Make the connection........This is the best Allergy info..

Being a nurse with over 25 years experience, I have seen a lot of patients with various disorders and I have learned ........

Many allergies are caused from common everyday chemicals and fragranced products as well as VOC's in homes, schools and workplace..

This is a growing problem for many people and most are not even aware that it exists as more and more chemicals are being introduced and used on a daily basis..

Many people believe that because a product smells good or cleans well and it is on a store shelf that it is tested, approved and safe for use..
Think again !

We are now seeing more and more children and adults with skin disorders, nausea, dizziness, nausea, Chronic Headaches, Sinusitis, Migraines, Asthma, Allergies, Hives, Chronic Hives, Eczema, sinus / respiratory illnesses and Hormone related disorders..

I can not emphasize how important it is to educate yourself about the harm you may be doing to your health by using chemicals and fragranced products..

If you or a loved one has symptoms of or suffers from chronic headaches, reproductive problems, Migraines, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lupus or Fibromyalgia, you need to read further and learn about the signs and symptoms of MCS - Multiple Chemical Sensitivity..

Most doctors will not inform you about this because patients as a whole like to walk out of a doctors office with a prescription for some magical medicine and they do not want to be told that their expensive new perfume or newly installed carpet may be the culprit.. So, the doctor will give you medications and many of these meds either do not work or cause other health problems..

Chemicals and fragranced products are often the root of many disorders and illnesses when it comes to your health.. Many of the below mentioned items are common triggers to sinus, asthma, itching, headaches, Migraines and allergy problems amongst other health issues.. Get rid of them and your immune and respiratory system will thank you and you will breathe easier..

And, it is not only personal body or cleaning products causing havoc on your health
