Can uncontrollable licking be a Tourette's tick?!

Question: Can uncontrollable licking be a Tourette's tick.?

That about says it all. I know someone who's son (11 yrs old) licks things including humans constantly. She thinks it is normal behavior but I disagree and got to wondering about Tourette's. Any info available is appreciated.Health Question & Answer
