I have tonsilitis again why do i keep getting tonsilits.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
it's the way your tonsils are, and there is nothing you can do about it.Gargling with lukewarm salt water helps, but doesn't get rid of the problem. If you get them more than 3 times a year, you need to see an ENT doc and possibly have a tonsillectomy, which depending on how old you are, is can be either a piece of cake, or a nightmare (it's a real pain for older adults). Health Question & Answer

Taking all your symptoms together it does seem likely that this is a bacterial sore throat and probably should be managed with penicillin V, assuming no allergies.

'Keep getting' means different things to different people. If you are getting 4 or 5 debilitating episodes a year, that might be enough to justify tonsillectomy being considered. Go chat to your GP.Health Question & Answer

You're immune system must be run-down.

Stress.? Anxiety.? Pressure.?

Depending on when you last experienced tonsillitis, it might have returned if the antibiotics weren't appropriate (or - shiver - if you didn't take the full course of antibiotics if you were prescribed them). Sure you wouldn't have but just putting it out there. =)

See your doctor...sounds like you're in for a dose of antibiotics. In the worst case scenario, the doctor might decide you're better off without your tonsils.Health Question & Answer

I used to get tonsilitis all of the time. Best thing I ever found to use was warm white vinegar and water mixed and gargled several times a day with it. Works wonders.Health Question & Answer

Unfortunately, some people just get tonsilitis really often... maybe you need your tonsils taken out.?
Hope you feel better
