Question: My scalp peels off in very large sheets, its like dandruff on steroids. The skin sheets are THICK, what is it.?
My scalp peels once every 2-3 days, it peels mainly where my hairline starts in front, and it peels where the hairline stops on the back of my head. The skin that comes off is VERY thick, and its not common dandruff, for sure. Sometimes its white sometimes its yellowish. WHAT is this.?!.?! What kind of skin/scalp condition do I have. Like I said I have to peel the dead skin at least once every 2-3 days. I shower and wash regularly so I dont know whats going on. Health Question & Answer

Answers:
You should see a dermatologist - it sounds like psoriasis or eczema or some other skin disease.

I'm guessing it gets worse when you're stressed, right.? Keeping stress levels down can help, but you need a diagnosis. also, if it's related to nutrition, with a diagnosis, you'll be able to tackle it better.

Good luck, kiddo!
