i test 8 to 81/2 months for hiv and my test came back negative. its been 1 year since i test i have no sympthoms of hiv and never had any sympthoms was the hiv that i took accuarte.?.?Health Question & Answer

if u tested negative 81/2 months from possible expsoure then yeah the test is negative. it take 3 months for hiv to be detected in the blood in rare cases 6 months so you should be fineHealth Question & Answer
If the test you took came back negative, and you don't have any symptoms today... then yeah, I'd say it was pretty accurate.
